1. Who we are

saminopet.ro is operated by Sam Mills International S.A., registered office at 151 Mioriței Street, 447065 Botiz, Satu Mare County, Romania, tax ID 46440697, Trade Register no. J2022000746300 (“we”). We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you send us through the contact form:

• name;
• email address;
• phone number, if you choose to provide it;
• the content of your message;
• proof of your consent: the date and time of submission and the IP address it was sent from.

The website has no user accounts, online shop or newsletter and collects no other data about you.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We use and store this data only to reply to your message and to be able to show that you gave your consent. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR). We do not use the data for marketing and we do not sell it.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to reply and handle any follow-up, but no longer than 12 months after our last correspondence. After that, the data is deleted.

5. Who we share it with

The website is hosted on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Form messages are processed by a website function running on Cloudflare and sent to office@sammills.ro; they are not stored at Cloudflare after sending. Your data can only be accessed by Sam Mills staff who handle enquiries and, for strictly technical reasons, by Cloudflare and our email provider, who process it only on our instructions. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell your data or share it for any other purpose.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• find out what data we hold about you (access);
• have it corrected (rectification);
• have it erased;
• restrict its processing;
• receive it in a structured format (portability);
• object to its processing;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@sammills.ro. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

7. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to received messages is limited to the people who need them to reply to you.

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown above.
